Grand theft auto 4 is third person open world shooter game developed and published by rockstars games in 2008.It is the main entry to the franchise since 2004 gta san andreas.Now lets discuss what to expect when you play it for the first time.


 Presentation:- 2008 was the year of many good games such as Far cry 2,Fallout 3 Crysis warhead, call of duty world at war and much more.Set in the liberty city which resembles New York city in real life this game is beautiful and gorgeous.

Graphically this game looks better than many of the next generation games.Lightning effects are beautiful,the buildings also look realistic in max settings and the gun sounds are much better.Its always a joy to explore liberty city specially at night.

Missions-  This game is filled with memorable missions.The game starts picking a pace right from the beginning.Missions include killing a boss who is a bully,kidnapping a mafia's daughter,some awesome rescue missions and the most memorable:robbing a bank.However the missions starts getting tough as the game progresses.The main character Niko Bellic a Russian war hero,has to make certain decisions on some missions based on moral choices which makes the game much more interesting and versatile.

New stuffs:- 1.Better story than the previous entries of the series.Story is told in a much realistic and darker tone.
                     2.Addition of the in game internet which allows the player to read local news and date
                        girls.
                     3.Realistic game physics.(i.e- car crashes,water effects,accidents,movements.)
                     4.Memorable NPCs.
                     5.Beautiful map to explore.

Limitations:- 1.One bad thing about the game is that it gives players less freedom than compared to other games of gta.Weapon and clothing choices are very limited and the player is unable to buy or sell stuffs(i.e- houses,vehicles).So what all the money is for?
  2.The player loses much of its time to take his buddies to eat,drink and other stuffs. Although the campaign is very good but taking your fat cousin to bowling over and over again makes it kinda boring.

Verdict:-

                          Despite all the flaws gta4 is a beautiful experience even today.You will spend hours and there's many things to enjoy.
